Toyota Mirai | Don't spit on hydrogen car!
The Toyota Mirai, a four-door, mid-size sedan, is one of the world’s first mass-produced hydrogen car. The Mirai uses a fuel cell that produces electricity and is similar to an electric car. It is really strange to find a lot of Ev cars owners that will spit on hydrogen cars promoting that they are not efficient! The Mirai is a zero-emission hydrogen vehicle with an EPA estimated driving a range of 312 miles and 67 mpg city/highway combined. Its performance fully competes with traditional internal combustion engines – but uses no gasoline. With a refuelling time of approximately five minutes, the Mirai creates electricity using hydrogen, oxygen and a fuel cell, and emits nothing but water vapour in the process. With more than 4,000 vehicles sold in California, Mirai makes up more than 76% of all hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles on the roads in the United States. It's a technology that Toyota is promoting a lot here in Québec and Canada!
